Reporting to the Senior Director, Operations (SDO) the Program Manager is responsible for the general oversight, operations, and leadership of multiple teams providing addiction and mental health services to a diverse patient population. Demonstrating sound leadership acumen, the Program Manager uses critical thinking and problem-solving skills to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, is accountable for teams providing excellent patient care, and provides direction and support to Unit/Clinic managers and front-line staff as appropriate.
Your Opportunity: A Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the comprehensive patient and family care in an acute surgical unit in accordance with Royal Alexandra Hospital and Alberta Health Services policy and procedures. PCU 21 is a 28-bed unit providing care to bariatric, urology and general surgery patients. Patients are received from the operating room, emergency department, intensive care units, and directly from medical clinics.
